Meet the Owners
S&S Event Rentals was founded by brothers Joshua and Evan Sogga, Lafayette natives and graduates of Acadiana High School. With strong ties to their community and a shared appreciation for well-organized, meaningful gatherings, the two combined their distinct backgrounds to create a company built on reliability, efficiency, and personal service.
Joshua is known for his steady presence and easygoing personality. He has served in the Louisiana National Guard since 2017, a role that’s shaped his strong sense of responsibility and ability to stay calm under pressure. With a background in sales, he’s also developed a natural way with people—someone who’s just as comfortable coordinating logistics as he is sharing a laugh during setup. Family is at the center of everything he does, and that shows in the care he puts into each event.
Evan brings a warm, hands-on energy to the business. With years of experience managing multiple restaurant locations, he’s used to working behind the scenes to make things run smoothly. He has a love for cooking and entertaining that translates into an instinct for what makes an event feel special. Thoughtful and dependable, Evan is often the first to offer help and the last to leave, making sure every detail is just right.
Together, Joshua and Evan take pride in helping others celebrate life’s moments—big or small—with the same care and effort they’d offer their own friends and family.
